On October 29, the “Boca de Pez-Trail Journey 2022” will be held in Cuenca – a race that consists of running on trails, secondary roads, mountains, hills, rivers, and lakes, including steep terrain.
The race will be held via Barabón Km 2, with the sponsorship of the International Trail Running Association (ITRA;) the support of certified athletes in the design of routes and assembly of races; top-level staff and signaling, and will have 3 routes:
10K “Escalera al cielo” “Rob D”
It is a route in Sky Race mode that consists of 5km with 1,000m of ascent and 5km of descent with a downhill slope. Due to its moderate intensity, it is a challenge for beginners as well as for experienced runners.
21K “Casa del Árbol”
It is a non-traditional route on pavement, secondary roads, and trails around Barabón. An intermediate challenge for athletes who enjoy slopes longer than 1,000m.
34K “Boca de Pez”
A combined route of long vertical distances in which you can enjoy from pavement to the most technical trails, covering all the routes of the event.

Camping Area 5 AM
There is a preferential space for fans and family, with a comprehensive security system managed by trained personnel, offering the opportunity to have a unique experience of the entire race.
October 29th
Race
- First start: 34km – Boca de Pez – 4:30 AM
- Second start: 21km – Casa del Árbol – 7 AM
- Third start: 10km – Escalera al Cielo – 9 AM
Fair
In this space, entrepreneurs and companies will be able to exhibit, promote and sell their products.

After the pandemic, people have come to really value health, freedom, the peace of breathing fresh air, and the connection with nature.
